Amazing horn, how sweet the sound
That woke a wretch like me
It once was lost, but now is found
For peace Commy now I plead.

Twas crew that taught my heart to fear
And crew who wouldn't bail
How foolish did my crew appear
The hour we first set sail.

Through many bridges, reeds and banks
We have already come
Tis Skip' who has brought us safe thus far
But Commy who'll tow us home.

When we've been here three days or more
Tired out, and where's the sun?
We've torn our sails, we've learned to bail
But oh, we've had such fun.
