Jon helms expertly while Fi grins at something. Or she could be gnawing on her buoyancy aid, it isn't clear (although that doesn't make sense either, because, as is usual on Kestrels, there was plenty of cake to go around that week).

Food, feet, and... uh.. people. Actually, I could really go for some of that toasted cheese that Tore is eating right now. Mmmmm. Oh, and can anyone tell me where this photo was taken? I only remember rafting on Barton this year, and this isn't there.

Sarah takes the helm on a broad umm... somewhere (the skipper's probably off having a snooze, I'll bet). By the way, it's not always as cold on Kestrels as it looks here! In fact, if you ignore the wind chill factor, most days it's barely below freezing.

Liz visits the cruise to prove that even though she's not Commie anymore, she's still up to that high standard of Kestrels sailing that we all aspire to. And she didn't disappoint. Just after this photo was taken, she managed to get her boom tangled in another boat's rigging. Hurrah!

Still moored up at Ranworth, the crews hang out at lunchtime for a big ol' natter. Of particular note in this photo is Fi's expression, again, the reason for which is unclear.

Sarah and Fi demonstrate that classic facial expression that, roughly translated, means "we're stuck in the reeds again, whoops".

Mark, still the entertainer, considers whether his run-up was long enough after his attempt to break the Kestrels record for leaping over girls sat on a bench appears less than successful.
