Becca waits to greet arrivals at the boatyard for another exciting week of Kestrels fun. It's possible that it's a little cold there.
And when I say cold, I don't mean "brr it's a bit chilly eh?" I mean, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA LOOK AT THE FROST". Seriously though, Kestrels is great. It's not really that cold or anything.
Sunday morning and it's time for a service in the open air in the ruins of St. Benet's abbey, complete with stunning sunrise, peaceful surroundings and morning sunshine. Settings don't get much more perfect.
Of course, at the end of the day it's all about the food, the friendships, the relaxing, and the food. Wait. That should have been 'throughout the day'. Sorry. Skippers Dan and Chris and their crews relax in the sun.
Speaking of food, it's time for the food competition. Each boat gets £10 to spend on a creative meal that they cook themselves. Here's Dave, Matt and crews with an exotic pasta bake.
Dan seems confused by Matt's fruit salad. Or perhaps he's wondering whether to trade his pasta bake?
Ed and his crew proudly show off their food competition entry. Is that salmon and pasta with custard... for one?
Meanwhile, on skipper Chris's boat, we have... this... for dinner. I sure it was, uh, delicious. Whatever it was.
